Malware alerts

Received a fake email claiming I have made a $2000 odd card transaction. The attached Excel file will probably download malware if opened. Are others aware of this danger?

Cost of takiing pets to Europe post Brexit

The £180 (RCV) cost of the Animal Health Certificate appears to be an example of blatant profiteering given that the information required would appear to be part of vertinary record.

Mobile Contract Price Walking

Most mobile phone networks have recently introduced annual price rises of 3.9% + RPI/CPI. This is price walking which punishes customer loyalty/apathy and does not apply to new customer pricing.

Do you often think Which chose items to test that are over priced

For example just bought a new coffee machine and none of the cheaper drip ones were reviewed.
How about Argos Asda and Tesco products with real tests. Time to brew 4 mugs. Temperature of coffee.

Which? subscription special offers to new members

If Which? makes 50% off subscription offers to new subscribers, they should also automatically reduce the price to current members. I can’t get past member services adviser in trying to raise this.

Hi @papercontracts,

In principle we’d agree, however the newer membership packages within the offer aren’t necessarily like-for-like with the existing (legacy) membership packages. Simply changing everyone to the new package and price would cause people to have to pay extra for services that had been included in their earlier package (Which? Money Helpline is an example here). Depending on what membership package you’re on it may be possible to switch to the membership package on offer at the lower price, however it’d be worth a conversation with Member Services to understand what services you currently have, and how this would differ under the new structure.
