plus naming some star potato varieties that ought to be more available

Why are Clydesdale Bank polymer £20 notes being rejected by Bank of Scotland?

My Bank of Scotland branch refused to accept that note with no explanation why. This means money I got from Sainsbury ATM cannot he used. Someone ‘stole’ my money, Virgin Money tangle is cause.

DEFRA’s Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) doesn’t make sense

Consultation on the proposed DRS will be in early 2021. Forecast set up costs are £1.2bn then £600m p.a. but technology is available to use existing kerbside collections.

Which? Annual report and AGM

If Which? is serious about sustainability, surely it should stop sending out glossy Annual reports and AGM details by post. Allow an opt-in for postal versions but make the default access online.

PayPal is giving terrible customer service

I have just discovered (rather late) that eBay is moving away from PayPal to Amsterdam-based Adyen. I have been trying to reclaim from PayPal and found them uncommunicative. I wanted to warn everyone.

Sony WH-!000MX3 Headphone Problem

Anyone had the apparently common problem where the headband sliders crack (because of the tiny plastic strip holding it in place)? Sony aren’t interested and say it’s physical damage. Check yours!
