Just how do you judge the quality of reviews

2019 Which? Car Insurance league table, is so glowing for one provider that scores so poorly on another site. Why do opinions vary so much?

Hey Paul,

I can’t speak for the other site, but happy to give you more detail on how our scores come out.

Which? ranks the scores of each of the car insurers based on a total score that is 50% customer score, 50% car insurance policy score. The customer score is based on a survey of 4,739 general public respondents, and the car insurance policy score is our assessment of the quality of standard cover comparing 58 elements of the policy. You can see more detail on that here: https://www.which.co.uk/money/insurance/car-insurance/best-and-worst-car-insurance-aqkx76z7t0vw#headline_4

Hey Peter, I’ve suggested this to our testing team. You can also find some guidance in the Air Purifiers section (these are designed for indoor pollutants) https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/air-purifiers/article/recommendations/which-best-buy-air-purifiers#videoAndArticle, and we also had a look at the Flume air quality monitor back in February: https://www.which.co.uk/news/2019/02/meet-flow-the-new-personal-air-quality-tracker/
