Still too much water in supermarket bacon!

Can’t believe that despite promises in 2011 to reduce water in bacon the products are still full of ‘white scum’ when fried or grilled on the BBQ. Why hasn’t the quality improved?

Currys PC world back tracking on a compensation offer – help needed !

I have had major issues with Currys recently. They offered me via email a £440 goodwil gesture but are now saying it was a typo and are only offering £100. They have spoken to there legal dept also.

2016 Renault Kadjar – no hands free

New Kadjar bought last year had hands free. New version of Motorola phone and Android upgrade and Renault say ‘not compatible’ and ‘no plans to upgrade software’. Are they serious? Is it acceptable?

Auto renewals for boiler service, insurances etc.

BGas boiler service auto renewal leapt from £235p.a. to £284 (20%+ more). Looked on-line and exactly the same cover is quoted at £240 less £6 for d.d. What a rip off this auto renewal scam is!

Sick of the free in freeview tv

Should advertises not stop using the “only place to watch free tv is on freeview/freesat” How is it free when legitimately you have to pay £12 per month if you have a device capable of receiving it.

Flight prices should be advertised including a seat and piece of hold luggage at the airlines lowest price

People can upgrade from this level, but a seat is not an option so should be included. More people have hol luggage than not so this should be included. This would make price comparison easier

Water Rates

Is there a plan to introduce competition between water companies? I was shocked when I moved house where I was paying Thames Water £26 pm to Southern and South East water paying just under £50!

Smart Meters not so Smart

There are reports of Smart Meters not working for new energy supplier. In addition several are not compatible with on site solar panels seemingly recording the exported electricity too. Needs review

It’s time that fuel economy figures reflect real life driving.

Current test is designed to achieve the max mpg value. This needs to reflect real world driving. Car should be standard, not modified, ie practice weight reduction by omiting seats, interior trim etc

Backgroud Sound/Music drowning out speech in televisions programs

Very frequently now, I noticed the background noise or accompanying music is loud enough to be almost the same tone/pitch as voices therefore making listening to a program a pointless exercise.

Re Claim NI Credits for looking after grandchildren

I had paid voluntary contributions after early retirement to boost pension, then claimed NI credits for childminding grandchildren, applied for refund of voluntary contributions and got the refund!
