End commission on financial products to advisors (including Which Mortgage Advisors), or pass these bribes on to conumers
Hi allotmentor, thanks for sharing your idea. I just want to point out, however, that ​all of our mortgage advisers are paid a salary for providing impartial advice. As they don’t receive commission, they will only recommend a mortgage that they think is right for the consumer.
Water Charges.

Can anyone help me with cheap phone calls to Australia. I used a contact at 1p per minute plus BT extra, which was 1p and last July went up to 11p per minute. 12p per minute makes it expensive.
Withdrawal of Skype TV app – Skype has announced it is withdrawing support for its app, carried on many Smart TVs, from June 2016. Samsung have already confirmed the app will removed from their Smart Hub in June 2016; other manufacturers will likely follow.

Hello Grumbler, thanks for your comment. I’ve spoken to the Which? Switch team. The way we calculate savings is based on those stipulated in Ofgem’s Confidence Code – the code by which switching sites operate. We abide by the overarching principles of the Code, including the way cost/savings are calculated.
The assumes that if you are on a fixed term tariff coming to an end you will automatically roll onto the supplier’s standard tariff which is what will happen if you do nothing – the figures are also seasonally adjusted. Thank you
On-line banking.
Make banks cross check payee name. They do not do this which allows fraud to take place. They only check account number & sort code. With cheques the account name is cross checked!
There should be a national database for lost property.

Am I alone or has anyone been subjected to a “National Database” on the telephone? – try a scrivener/lawyer in Brussels using a UK TEL NO: and the TPS is unable to even send them a letter. Comments?
